Diane's Meat Sauce

Ingredients to buy
- ☐1 lbGround sirloin
- ☐1 canDiced tomatoes
- ☐1 canTomato sauce (Contadina Roma)
- ☐1 cloveGarlic powder
- ☐1/4 cupCabernet or Merlot
Ingredients you probably have
- ☐Sea salt (1/2 tsp)
- ☐Oregano (dried, 1/8 tsp)
- ☐Basil (dried, 1 tsp)
Equipment needed
- ☐12 inNon-stick skillet
- Brown the meat in the skillet on medium-high heat.
- Drain excess liquid off the meat once cooked.
- Mix in the remaining ingredients.
- Simmer for 1 hour, covered, stirring occasionally.
